I had *hoped* he was gay because, as you said, it makes him seem less creepy.

Ha ha, I thought exactly the same thing about the singing waiter job.
Re. Ann's page - really, how can it be possible to write SO MUCH boring drivel about her bloody dog? Does anyone care?

@myu: DAMNIT. I googled ol' Petey but that scholastic bio didn't come up. I guess I will have to amend my post. I really liked the idea of Ann and Peter working together, healing that rift between lesbians and gays that has sprung up over the decades.

I don't mind baby-sitting. I did it a lot as a youngun, and now I do it once in awhile for my little sisters (though "baby-sitting" means me yelling at them while sitting at teh computer.)

I didn't know that Peter Lerangis had a new series out. I might like to check it out, the few-page excrept on Amazon was tolerable.

From Lerangis' Scholastic profile:

"Lerangis lives in New York City with his wife...and their two children."
http://content.scholastic.com/browse/contributor.jsp?id=1608

Possibly not a (n out and proud) homosexual, then.
Babysitting is probably next to "take a bath in sulphuric acid" in my list of Things I Don't Want To Do. I don't want to have children of my own, either. Maybe Dawn's a fan of the 'at the end of the day you can give them back' concept.
