the best friends you’ll never have

I wrote a post and wordpress ate it. Super.

It was about how Mary Anne is how Ann wishes people see her, but inside she feels like nerdy, mouse story-writing Mallory. Mallory is the only BSC-er who is not attractive. Mallory is the repository of all of Ann’s insecurities. And that is why Mal was sent to boarding school.

Thoughts?

I never really thought about that, to be honest. I remember reading somewhere that Ann’s little sister Jane was sporty and that Ann herself was more of an academic. Even though Mallory seems at first to be the token big saddo of the BSC, she is the one with the big family and large group of friends who all love her, know about her writing and don’t make fun of her.
Fair enough, Mallory is bullied at school. However, she then gets the chance to start a new life away at boarding school and really succeed in her studies.

Fuck, I hate Mallory.

In a letter in a bsc book, i think in ”hello mallory’, Ann wrote a letter saying that she constantly compared herself to mary Anne, but was also alot like mal. so maybe that’s why she is being sent to the boarding school. Aww, but Dawn already left, too!
