Ha! Interesting because I was just reading Stacey and the Mystery at the Empty House, and Stacey has kind of a judgmental moment as well. She mentions the time MA “was using babysitting time to entertain her boyfriend” and “we were all kind of ticked off at Mary Anne.” She even says in her narration “Bad move, Mary Anne.” Not long after, Stacey will ignore Jamie Newton’s barfing rampage to entertain HER boyfriend.

LOL, bbb, the post is right. So what if Stacey is going out with 500 boys? What’s she gonna do? Mary Anne’s not Stace’s mom.

i think mary anne might be envious of stacey
since stacey’s parents let her do a lot of things
and doesnt have to ask her dad
or anyone to go out somewhere
and didnt have to wait until she is twelve to pick out her clothes
and do other things she now gets to do
and because mary anne is on the shy
quiet side
while stacey is on the wild
sophisticated side
so yeah
that could probably be why
