I was an enormous fan of BSC as a kid, less so of SVH even though I read heaps of them. I was pretty scandalised by some of the goings on - I thought 16 would be a pretty exciting time lol. It is like someone tried alcohol for the first time and made a fool out of themselves at a dance vs. someone stole his stepfather's credit card, trashed a hotel room in a bipolar rage and then announced to his girlfriend's family at her gay father's wedding they were engaged, even though they were like 15 at the time. BSC is so innocently hilarious and it reminds you of when every little thing was The Biggest Deal in the world. SVH is like the best episode of 90210 on crack! I heart both series and not even as guilty pleasures. I used to care about people seeing me indulging on the train/bus, now I just bust it out- so good!!!!!
