I loved this one, too.

I remember being kind of shocked at the mention of booze in a BSC book...

I never liked the subplot of this book, but it was really just because I hated Amy. I never really thought about her parents leaving her with people she barely knew, but it seems like a really horrible thing to do.

Hey, Greer! I think you know me ;-) :D

I love your site, by the way. It's awesome!

Anyway, wanted to agree with what you said about this book feeling more 'with the times'. It really did! Is it so wrong for Stacey to want to do things that normal teenagers do? Not sneaking wine in concerts or shoplifting, of course, but just sitting down and watching tv without actually thinking of babysitting for once??

I agree with your thoughts about Amy, too. At that age I wouldn't have been able to stay at an aunt's, or probably even my grandparent's, house by myself! Let alone some strangers!

Anyway, great blog, keep it up :)
