I daydream about doing bold things I'd never do in real life (like standing up for myself, putting the mean girl at work in her place) or really tragic stuff (like I'm on my deathbed and everyone who picked on me feels terrible and many secrets are confessed). Only, see, these dreams sort of stuck with me until I was 16 and then I just whined a lot about how I never got to be tall and no one gave me a sports car. I'm so boring. I mean, she was the one who lay on her bed hugging herself. Stacey had a few cringeworthy daydreams about Wes. "I also like [Claudia's fantasy] because it seems like it would lead into a very strange magical pornographic film." I'm stuck between laughing and wanting brain bleach. Agh.
