I'm 21 and daydream just as much, if not more so, than when I was younger. I daydream about doing bold things I'd never do in real life (like standing up for myself, putting the mean girl at work in her place) or really tragic stuff (like I'm on my deathbed and everyone who picked on me feels terrible and many secrets are confessed).

In response to Maddy:
me too! I think daydreaming is a very important part of being an author. Call it research. :)

I day dream about 24/7... I think even my dreams happen because of my daydreams or what I would like to happen. (except when I get some psycho killer after me).
Weird.

I think I spent my entire childhood and adolescence daydreaming. I think that was the start of my desire to be an author - I was always coming up with characters and scenarios in my head.

I actually had, like, zero friends from second to fourth grade, which was around the same time I was heavy into the BSC. My daydreams were more like Stacey's though -- I was always a really tall, thin, child actress who was given a red convertible to drive around the day she turned 16.

Only, see, these dreams sort of stuck with me until I was 16 and then I just whined a lot about how I never got to be tall and no one gave me a sports car. I'm so boring. I wish I had trevor sandburg almost porn daydreams.

I was exactly the same when I was younger. I'd say I probably don't daydream as much now - I just think and analyse things an awful lot :).
Mallory strikes me as a bit of a daydreamer, as does Claudia. I mean, she was the one who lay on her bed hugging herself. Stacey had a few cringeworthy daydreams about Wes.
"I also like [Claudia's fantasy] because it seems like it would lead into a very strange magical pornographic film."
I'm stuck between laughing and wanting brain bleach. Agh.

Without daydreaming, life would suck. Seriously, I can't understand people who don't daydream. Have they really NO thought in their head? That's sad.

I love daydreaming. :)

Good lord, if it wasn't for my imagination and my daydreams I probably would have decended into a pile of hysterical madness.

Well even more so than normal.
